Our Mission

Changing the golf landscape

Ladies Who Golf is redefining the game of golf for Professional Career Women by creating an inclusive, dynamic, and inspiring community. Established September 16, 2023, we recognize that women who step onto the golf course with peers and decision-makers position themselves as well-rounded professionals capable of navigating any environment—whether it’s closing deals in the office or managing high-stakes interactions on the green, we’re changing the golf landscape. The golf course fosters conversations and collaborations that may not naturally arise in a formal office setting, offering a unique space to break down barriers and establish meaningful connections.

Expanding into the LWG Racquet Club

At the heart of this expansion is the inspiration drawn from legend: Althea Gibson, a trailblazer in both golf and tennis. Gibson was a dominant force in tennis, becoming the first Black woman to win a Grand Slam title. After breaking barriers on the tennis court, she went on to compete as a professional golfer, paving the way for women of color in both sports. Her legacy represents perseverance, excellence, and the power of embracing multiple athletic pursuits—values that align perfectly with the mission of Ladies Who Golf.

Tennis and golf share more similarities than one might think. Both sports require precision, focus, and strategic thinking. Adding racquet sports to our community offers members a way to diversify their fitness routines, improve hand-eye coordination, and engage in a fun, social environment. With the LWG Racquet Club, we aim to create new opportunities for networking, skill-building, and active lifestyles.

By taking advantage of corporate golf tournaments, women in male-dominant fields can reinforce their presence in industries where representation matters. The golf course fosters conversations and collaborations that may not naturally arise in a formal office setting, offering a unique space to break down barriers and establish meaningful connections.
